Complaint: It was a nightmare, I spent excess of $100.00 to get this card
cancelled I sent a check to an address on an old statement as they had not
sent my new one and did not want my account to be in delinquency. So I call
explained this was the situation, the care rep was not sure if they would
ever get it so I told them i would stop the payment and send a new check.
She said they would charge me 30.00 for NSF even if this was a stop
payment.. I was to ticked, I stopped the payment at my bank for $15.00, then
sent a new check via over night USPS with certified mil-14.00+6.00 then I
was told the check amount would not have paid of the balance as they were
charging me additional 23.00, because there had been interest accumulating
since my statement was sent and the person who gave me that did not
calculate that in. Ok so I requested the card be canceled and once all
monies changed hands that would be the end right, no they still tried to
charge me a monthly fee 10.00 and al!
so 3.00 on that monthly fee.. Thank god I'm using cell minutes for all
these calls otherwise would have to have paid long-distance for each of
these 20 minute nightmare calls.. Then congress signs this new bankruptcy
bill in favor of jerks like Cross Country thanks a lot.. |

Complaint: What a rip off, obscene fees, I had paid my balance, and was off
by less than ten cents, so they tacked on a 30 late fee. These people call
15 to 20 times a day. Stay away from these scammers |

Complaint:
I had a good relationship with this company with many increases. I paid
annual fee. But when you go over 1000.00 they charge you 6.00 a month. In
other words they penalize you for being a good cardholder. Too bad as they
pretty good otherwise. I closed my account because of this.
Don't be afraid to use this card if you pay online and get rid of it when
you get to 1000.
Also they have changed their name to Applied Bank Card.
